A collaboration between Zoe Baumgartner and Mara Schwerdtfeger.
Examining how function can provide character within objects, this series of audio-visual portraits takes pieces from Melbourne based label HB Archive to reveal how garments act outside of their initial purpose as clothing. In an evolving relationship of interaction and reaction, the garments pose as sculpture, backdrop, or tool when placed within varying environments. Existing without and beyond the human body form, the garments take on new characters in their display.
Best enjoyed with headphones.
