What is the difference between ARCHIVE and LIMIT?

The ARCHIVE is made up of pieces that act as building blocks to obtain a capsule wardrobe.
The LIMIT series includes limited edition end of run designer fabrics, or style variations to Archive pieces, subject to availabilty.

Why does the item I'm looking at say 'Pre Order'?

HB Archive works on a made to order (Pre Order) system. If a HB Archive piece says 'Unavailable' this means it's a Pre Order garment. Pre Orders open on the 1st of every month for selected pieces.

How do I Pre Order something?

On the 1st of the month Pre Orders open for selected garments. There is a special focus on certain fabrics and/ or items each month, you can get in touch with your required item (fabric, width, length) to make sure they are available. The more info the better!

Can I try something on in person?

Unfortunately HB Archive does not have the capacity for fittings, having no stock held. However, you can find certain garments and accessories in our stockists (see below).

I need help deciding a size!

No worries! Before you get in contact, be sure to check out the sizing page, and refer to product descriptions to find measurements of each garment. Remember that the LETTER (A,B,C) represents the garment width, and the NUMBER (1,2,3) is length.

If you still need some help feel free to send your relevant measurements, as well as your styling preferences (e.g. if you wear more fitted, or oversized), and the garment you are looking at.

I saw a fabric, or LIMIT variation online that I'd like to order!

Send an email with the details on which fabric, and garment with size (width and length) to see if it's possible! Screen-shots and photos are helpful.
If it's an old post on instagram it could be made from LIMIT fabrics - these are locally sourced designer dead-stock and may be all gone :(

Please note that full payment is needed to secure your LIMIT order. If not received within 2 days of invoice being sent the fabric may be given to the next in line.

When will I receive my order?

Available Now items will be posted within five business days.

Pre order items are made just for you and can be expected within 8 weeks from purchase date. Timing will depend on Holly's sewing schedule. You will receive an email once it has been shipped.

What are your shipping rates?

All orders will be sent out via Australia Post, unless otherwise negotiated.
A tracking number will be provided via email once the package has been sent.

Express Shipping.
$12 on orders under $200.
$15 on orders over $200.
Complimentary postage on orders over $800.
Please anticipate 2-5 business days from dispatch.

New Zealand
Flat rate of $32 AUD. 
Complimentary postage on orders over $1000 AUD.
Please anticipate 7-14 business days from dispatch.

Rest of World
Flat Rate of $40 AUD for rest of world. Complimentary postage on orders over $1200 AUD.

International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at the destination country. Any taxes or duties incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient. In accordance with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items. For more information on taxes, duties and customs regulations, we recommend contacting your local customs office directly. If the receiver refuses to pay taxes and duties, the item(s) will be returned to sender and the order will be refunded, excluding the return and original shipping fee.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

As each HB Archive garment is made to order unfortunately returns or exchanges for incorrect size or change of mind cannot be accepted.

However, HB Archive will offer mending, credit note, or exchange on any purchase if the garment is found to have a genuine manufacturer's fault, the garment does not correspond to samples or descriptions given to the purchaser, the garment does not function in the way it should.
Garments deemed faulty will need to be assessed and approved by HB Archive.
The Returns Policy corresponds with consumer’s rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Buyer will be required to cover postage costs if returning faulty items.
