Care Guide
All HB Archive garments are carefully made to be worn well and washed well for many occasions, seasons and years of companionship. When laundering garments it is recommended to always follow the instructions on the product’s internal care label.

Cotton or Linen
Cold hand wash with a natural detergent, pull back into shape when wet, and dry flat in shade. If crease free is your thing, wait until you iron has heated up fully, and iron on a warm setting with a clean towel between your garment and the hot plate.

Woollen and Merino
Swap to a wool detergent for hand wash, pull back into shape when wet, and dry flat. You can find more tips on caring for woollen items on the Journal here. Cool iron, maybe pop a tea towel over.

Accessories or Neither products
Spot clean is best. If you really need to wash please hand wash with a natural detergent, pull back into shape and dry flat. Avoid using steam if ironing the Reso Bag or Garden Hat's brim.
Washing often, and in a machine may cause fading and shrinkage in your garment. However, your clothes are made to be worn and loved, so in the end it's up to you!
