The Poet Shirt with Tuxedo Hem's sleeve and body is cut between Archive lengths 1 and 3, and has a curved hem with internally bound finish.
Consistent details include being oversized in nature, a raglan sleeve at front, leading to a yoke at the back. Featuring loop and button closure with buttons covered in same fabric as shirt.
This LIMIT edition is made of locally sourced designer dead-stock fabric and as the name suggests, limited in quantities. Plain white fabric options may vary in colour or handle slightly with each shirt made.
Wear well with Harvey's, CBS, or throw over the Daise Dress.

First created in 2017, The Poet Shirt has been made in countless fabrics, sleeve and hem lengths and shapes, and collar styles. After three years of sampling, fitting on multiple body’s, and thinking, the photographed edition is remarkably similar to it’s original.
Originally named the O.S Shirt (Over Sized), sometimes just referred to as ‘The Shirt’ with friends, I finally landed on the ‘Poet’ while listening to Patti Smith read Just Kids as I sewed. It feels right to name it after her, I think it’s something she would like.
